Recently on last 8th April 2024 North America experienced the great solar eclipse. Far from a time of celebration, it is seen as an opportunity to seek God’s blessings and protection from potential disasters. Understanding the significance of this celestial occurrence within Islamic teachings sheds light on the actions and mindset that Muslims are encouraged to adopt during such times.
The Eclipse Prayer (Salat al-Kusuf):
